I just like being able to catch a problem, before it becomes a problem (like being on a roadtrip without AC)...especially since I'm closing in on my 36000 mile warranty.
Just on that - if you reported the issue while the vehicle was under warranty - but the dealership wasn't able to diagnose it, then the issue presents itself outside of the warranty period... the manufacturers usually will cover it.

Hope that all made sense

Hi RAPR,

If you'd like, I can document your feedback about your experience for the appropriate parties to review. To do so, send me a PM with your full name, phone number, VIN, dealership name/location, and any details you'd like me to include. I'll get this entered into our system.

I have noticed this as well on my '11 since it was new. It sounds like a vacuum diaphragm is opening every 15 seconds or so. Would sure like to know why it does it.

RAPR, have you figured out what the noise is?

My intermittent a/c problem returned. When I got to looking around, I found the connector on the side/center of the a/c pump was just sitting on the stud and only relying on gravity to maintain a connection. Pushed it on the rest of the way and a/c has been working 100% for this last week.
Gotta love it when the fix is free and easy, hope it turns out to be on your truck, as well.

never determined what it is. The AC blows cold still. I can only really hear it when the AC is not blow blowing hard. Either its bc I can't hear the noise over the fan or the noise only happens while under light loads. I see about checking the pressure on the system myself one of these days before the warranty expires.
