Well I tightened the sensor up to try and get it to stop leaking. Only made it worse. Hopefully it's just cause the sensor is bad and nothing more. Have a pipe plug just gotta put it in. As always thanks guys.

What can I use on the threads? It seems to be eating the Teflon tape up and then it starts leaking again. No visible cracks in the housing. This is just incredibly annoying. Lol

I used gas rated teflon tape when I did my e-fuel. Maybe you could try some liquid teflon if you have it.

Awe now you guys got me nervous! I really hope this takes care of it. It seemed to eat that Teflon right off. I looked like it had yellow on it.

So Brian I know you said dont ask but I have to ask, how do you know? Lol

Gonna give it a shot wish me luck!

Darin I just peeked in the can , it does look like dry wall mud. What do you think should I try it or just get some yellow Teflon or liquid teflon in the morning

Thomas, if you don't need the truck, I'd get some liquid teflon in the morning. That yellow tape is pretty thick, I'd hate that to cause a crack in the housing. I could only get one wrap and no more on my fittings for my efuel or they would be too tight. Sealed well, but is a pain in the a$$ to work with.

I don't think I'd try that stuff you got, doesn't sound right to me.

Well I don't need it to tomorrow, I'll just put it back together so I can get it down to the shop and get the right stuff in the morning. I don't want to crack it. I really hope this is all it is.

So put a little JB weld on it. That should do the trick.... Just kidding!! Do Not do that!!..... Heck, Don't pay any attention to me. I'm the guy that over-tightened his and cracked it.. Nearly had a heart attack when the guy at the dealer told me how much a new one costs.

I just tefloned it again and got it snug. Still dripping. Hopefully it's just cause that Teflon can't stand the diesel. I'll get the right stuff tomorrow and hopefully all will be well.

It pry wouldn't tighten up if it was cracked right? Cause it got nice and snug. I'm just afraid now. Lol.

Well, I think its got a crack in it. Right where it starts I can run my finger around where the threads start and I feel almost a burr like thing. I think its been out before maybe it started leaking from that, I have no clue. Well it looks like I might be looking for a FPR.

This day has gone from bad to worse...

Thanks I might need that. We're going to try the tape again. I got it to almost quit but the tape is being really hard to work with. I'm so close. Of course this is the one time I really need my truck. Any other time I could have parked it. We will get it. My temper has cooled and we will try the tape one more time.

Question? Are those threads tapered on the fpr?

Btw I did price a new one and yeah definate sticker shock. Thankfully I can get it for resale. But fordman I still might hit you up. I just want to get through the weekend with it. I'll pm you if I need it.
