My 1st restoration project 1966 Ford f100

Loaded up and ready to go home.

Extra heavy duty front cab mounts. LMAO

Not a terrible platform to start on I guess.

It has the 3 speed with the overdrive. I will not be using it, I do now reverse and forward gears are fine but not sure on the OD part of it. The vehicle is not licensed to find out, and even if it was I wouldn't know how to use it.

Oh and door plate,

F10 = F100
Y = 352 V8
L = Michigan assy line
882951 = built June 1966 (next to last month of production)
Color A = black
E81 = body trim...this code isn't on my chart but looks like you've got a legit Custom Cab
Trans B = 3 speed with overdrive
Axle 08 = 3.50 rear end ratio

I will say this. It doesn't look bad from the outside but underneath it is in bad shape. Even the the rear cab mounts are rotted out. Not the mounts on the frame but the support rail ( not sure what it is called) that mounts the rear of the cab to the frame. Going to be over my head I am sure a few times, but thats what the internet is for right? LOL

There will be alot of cutting and grinding for sure. My metal skills are going to get drastically improved! I gave $1000.00 for it but I hope to recoup some $$$ with the sale of the 3 speed with O/D trans.

The lighted Bull horns have to be worth 3/4 of the purchase price!

The electric window add on also! (These do not work by the way)

The black box that is mounted on the inner fender is cruise control! Not sure if this works.

This ole girl definitely had some red neck engineering in its day.

Progress update.

Donor truck with 390 and c6 auto that I will be using plus the steering column.

Rotted floor pans.

Cab off and waiting for floor pans and front cab mounts to start the cutting process.
