Code Help. #6 Injector
My brother's Truck L99 250 4x4 CC LWB 199k has started having problems with the #6 injector. it coded P1670 and was running bad did a buzz test and it was weak. so new solenoid pack #6 and it worked great for a week then the same thing, so i put the new pack on 4 and 4 on 6. ran great for a day then same thing. codes P0113 1316 1276 when buzzed 1670, all of these code both times. i have check the wires 2 times and can not find a bad wire from the 42 pin on the side of the engine to the injector, with a meter and by hand for cuts wiggled and pulled no change. i may have to check the wires to the IDM but not sure why the 0113 is always coming back, i dont know why the air temp is high it is only 90*.
the problem only happens once the engine gets to operating temp, let it cool off runs like new then hot it losses #6 and codes, runs like a dog and had no power.
it has good oil full tank of fuel and CPS from Ford. the ICP dose not change it the IPR nut is tight.
could the IDM be wacko, wires, injector dieing?
i was thinking it was wires but i can not find it.
with it hot and the injector not running right i can buzz it and it buzzes good, so im thinking the wires might be ok.
any though as to where to look next.
all codes pulled with AreoForce scan gauge.

the first time it coded the buzz test sounded and showed 6 bad, put a used one from a spare motor on it. next time i put the used one on 4 and the factory on 6 to see if it went to 4 bud stayed on 6. pulled the same codes and runs bad. but buzzes good. it ohms the same as the rest in spec.
the wild part is it will run good then when hot it stops working let it cool and it will work then stop when warm 100% of the time just like clock work.

update, drove the truck 10 miles and it stared to code run bad, came home did a buzz test 6 was barely there only 200 on the rpms. pulled the idm and ohm everything then pulled it apart and checked it from the idm to the 42 then the 42 to the vc. 5 of the injectors where 3.6 the other 3 where 4.0, but my cheap meter may not be the best. i put new grease on the idm plugged it up did a run and it is running good, buzzed great and no codes. so i guess we will run it and see what happens.
