CCT ??

When I try to do the CCT my scantool starts the test, sets a timer, then a few seconds later says I have a P0470 EBP code and is finished. Do I have to fix the EBPS to run the CCT?
My scantool will not clear my codes, either. Says command denied. I am using the TechScan 7000.
Thanks, Sherri

You need to have your oil temp up to spec and also I believe you need to clear codes prior to doing it. You could also disconnect your battery cables and let it set a while and that would about do the same thing. The KAM or Keep Alive Memory error code may cause an issue for you when you do this though.

Is your EBPV disconnected?

My EBPV is intact, I broke the sensor though. I did get it up to operating temp. I disconnected the battery cables overnight, the codes stayed.
I will try clearing them again.
Thanks
