Instrument Cluster Gauge Question

Instrument Cluster Gauge Question
The temp gauge and the Alt gauge on my truck do not work. I've replaced them with SunPro gauges under the dash. I'd like to put these two gauges in the right side of the instrument cluster. I've seen pictures of instrument clusters on this site with replacement gauges on both sides of the speedo, but never any pics of the back side to show how it was done.
I'd like to keep the oil pressure gauge and fuel gauge for a while yet ($$$) and keep the original speedo.
Can I put just the two gauges on the right side without taking the printed circuit off the back of the cluster?
Thanks,
Hawk

Not very easily. The printed circuit spans almost the entire back of the cluster, and traces run throughout. The cluster connector also happens to be closer to the right-hand side (when viewed from the front).
However, anything can be accomplished if you have the time and patience. And in this case, electrical dexterity. Personally I don't think it's worth the effort in this case.

OK, bad idea replacing only two gauges.
So, lets replace all four and keep the stock speedo. When I pull the printed circuit, I'll need to replace or rewire turn signal indicators, high beam light, speedo dash light, etc. No problems so far.
New manual oil gauge to replace the stock oil gauge, replace Alt gauge with voltmeter, replace electric temp gauge with manual gauge, no problem here.
Now the fuel gauge - Do the stock sender units (two tanks) work with aftermarket fuel gauges? Or what do I need to do about this?
Still would like to get a look at the back side of a converted instrument cluster to get a better idea of how it goes together.
