Iam about to do head gaskets and studs to 2003 5.4 2 valve. Thinking while there off Id like to get them ported and polished, some mild cams in, headers, cold air intake and slightly bigger injectors and obviously get it tuned after. Truck already has true duels may get high flow cats to. Wondering if there are any tried and true relaible builds like this out there. Iam hoping not to have to touch my bottem end. And any info on where to get good parts and how it will hold up would be awesome.

 

Seems like you're headed down the right path...
I would not get the Cold air intake...save your money there. DO the GOtts mod instead, much cheaper & same affect.
rather do electric fan set up.

If you are not going to a super charger...the bigger injectors prolly won't do much either, minimal at best...a fresh set of stockers should be fine unless your cams are not so mild. If you intend on supercharging it...you be happerier to go though the bottom too with all forged items.

yes then a tune to make what ever you do all happy together
