'79 Ford Flareside

Just bought this last night. I am going to make it into my dd. It has a 300 straight 6 and 4 speed. It needs a few things and I am looking forward to working on it.

A short flairside is on my list of 'wants' for somewhere down the road. That's a nice looking one you got there. That 300 should make it an excellent daily driver. Decent power and should get pretty good fuel mileage, too. Love it!

Nice truck, should make a good DD with that 300. It's an awesome engine and arguably the best engine ever made by Ford. Keep us updated on your progress with the truck!

First thing you should do is remove the GM mirrors. Then find whoever installed them and beat him with them.

Nice truck though. Good Luck.

looks good, is that the 4spd OD trans? Sad state of the times when I get excited over drivetrain options that save gas

Nice looking truck, but as said above, do away with those mirrors. I do not suggest beating whoever put them on, as an assault/battery charge is never fun.
