I bought my truck in late April. Given that mine is not a stepside or what looks to be a Centurion conversion truck, my truck has 182K on it, 5.0, Auto, every option except power mirrors and I paid an even $2800 for it.
In my opinion the Centurion Flaresides are not as collectible as people think they are. With the exception of their conversion duallies and the more rarer '4-door Bronco', these flairsides never took off. They had the body kits, two-toned faded paint and different wheels in addition to wooden interior options. IMO, those were things that should've stayed in the 90's when these trucks left the assembly line. If I had a Flairside, I wouldn't want all the Centurion options like I had listed, just my opinion.
So can you get $8000 out of it??? -Most likely not;unless there is somebody that just simply can't live without it. It also depends where you are located at, etc, etc. If it were for sale here in Georgia...you'd be lucky to get $3500 for it. I do like Flairsides, and your's is a really nice one, but just not $8K nice, IMO

That is a nice looking truck. But 8 grand is high. You never know it is unique enough that someone may just be looking for that exact truck. And with yours being nice and clean it might be their ticket. But I would guess it would take a while to sell. I just got this for 10K.

No way you'll get 8K for that truck unless someone *really* wants it.
It's 2 wheel drive, been lowered, and has almost 200K on it.
Around here, you'd have to try hard to sell it for even 3K since it ain't 4 wheel drive.
I paid 3400 for the truck in my sig, minus the mods. That was even a bit high but I was willing to pay it since the guy just had the transmission rebuilt and had all of the maintenance records for it showing that it indeed was taken good care of.

round here you could get 5-6k just because its clean. you almost cant get a clean used truck near me, 4x4 or 2x4. and you guys saying "oh i got this for 2k or 3500" well your trucks also arent nearly as nice and the person you bought it from probably wasnt looking to get as much as possible just to sell it.

What person in their right mind wouldn't want to receive the most amount of money they could from a truck they were selling? When I say it might go for $4500 around here, it's because I've seen trucks in similar shape sell for $4500 around here. Those trucks even had low miles and they were sold in the rust belt.

"Nice" depends what you need/want the truck for. I wanted 4x4, SuperCab, and a 351. I don't mind light scratches and stuff because I know the first time I go off-road, it'll likely involve some trails and the paint WILL get trail rash from branches or whatever. The guy I bought it from was waving a printout from Kelley BlueBook at me, showing me that it was listed at 3500 in "Good" condition. Well, in my opinion with the mashed-in driver side fender and faded purple window tint, it was only "Fair" condition but whatever. I told him to knock 100 off for the fender and I'd take it. It also came with one of those goofy camper tops on it, which I removed right away and sold.

Could you? Yes, if you find the right buyer.
A point many people miss about when people ask what can I sell this for, is SOMEONE might value it highly, and it would be just what they want, in that case it might be a deal for them.
Yet the other side is, in all reality, most people won't pay that much. I don't know what sorta community you are in, but around here people want trucks for work. A little sportish truck, as cool as it is, has little value. Don't get me wrong, all I am saying it is your market that determines the price. Personally I'd say $6000 top dollar, but it doesn't hurt to list it high and bring the price down.
I asked that question a while ago on a different forum about our 96 Dodge, a half-ton truck, but really beefed up and fixed up. We wanted $10000 for it, most people were saying that that was outrageous but one person pointed out that point I just shared. Most people won't pay that, but the right buyer who values it will, and to them it will be a good deal.

No way. Your market is limited being a lowered 2wd, and a regular cab flareside isn't very useful. Not many people in the northern states will even look at a 2wd truck, simply because they're almost useless for half the year. Different story if it's a Lightning, but yours isn't. It's more of a summer weekend toy than anything IMO.

VERY nice looking clean truck, but I think you would be asking almost Double what it is worth. Not saying you will not get it, but you would have to find the right person.
For 8,000 you can get 4wd 3/4 - 1 ton diesel with the same milage
NADA put that truck as $3800 in clean retail
