Exclamation Need to find mirror bracket -- ND assistance please

As an insurance adjuster I never know what I'm going to see. Today I had the delight of dealing with a gentleman who bought a 1966 F350 cab and chassis new in '66 and still uses it almost daily. Unfortunately, one of my clients sideswiped his mirror and broke the 'C' bracket portion of the assembly. My expected sources have failed me, so if anyone has one or if NumberDummy can come up with a p/n and source, everyone involved would be appreciated. Photo of the affected part:

It's the 'C' portion as mentioned; snapped it clean off where the nut goes on. Mirror head and everything else appear ok. If someone has one, it needs to be shipped to PA. You can PM me the info and I'll pass it to the owner.

Sorry, this is not a Ford mirror, no Ford mirror upper bracket attaches 3/4's of the way up the front of the door post.

All outside mirrors were optional, some people went to NAPA, Western Auto and etc. autoparts stores, bought mirrors there.

The stainless mirror head is a replacement, the original would have been painted. It sorta looks like a genuine Ford mirror head, see pic at right lower.

Left (upper & lower) and Right (lower): The three different types of Ford mirrors offered for 1965/66 F series...that did not fit into the door slots, which have been filled in on this truck, as all 1961/66's came with them.

Note the locations of the upper brackets.

Thanks for that. Being a one owner truck, I ASSumed it was FoMoCo. This actually makes my life worse, since I can't locate a twin to this currently made (most are now aluminum). I may have found ONE supplier via the web.

Pictured at lower left in post #2:

C2TZ-17696-B .. R/L Western Mirror-Painted w/6" x 16" mirror head / Obsolete

BOWMAN SALES & SERVICE in Bowman ND has ONE = 701-523-3257.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has ONE = 800-476-9653.

KAMA OBSOLETE PARTS in East Bethel MN has ONE = 763-434-0123.

NOS PARTS LTD in Waxahachie TX has ONE = 972-937-2201.

TYPE 3 in '73/79 truck parts catalog pic: Many 1967/79 F100/350 Camper Special's came with this stainless steel mirror. With its 3rd 'steady-rest' arm, it sticks out well past the cab.

Obsolete, no one has any, but are not that difficult to find used.

The mirror on the F350 has been cobbed together with various parts. THe brackets on door were originally from a "RE-TRAC"(rectractable) mirror. RE_TRAC was a aftermarket supplier to GM Ford and Dodge. Note round swivel on top and a rachet type connection (top and bottom) were it connects to mirror arm. Mirror arms and cross arm are off a 60's large truck. Stainless mirror head from the mid 70s' pickup. I would remove everything and replace with find a set of period 60's-70's aftermarket stainless steel west coast pickup camper mirrors. They are adjustable universal fit type deals. I believe Yankee was a manufacturer of these type mirrors.
