here is the segment that talks about the pump valve... I remember reading about an orifice but I dont see it here.

The rest of the manual goes through each upgrade from 89-99ish. but it concentrates on the E4OD. I wonder if they have something similar for the 4r100.

you can get the manuals at your local transtar, they are not expensive (about $20 each iirc)

I cant remember if our trucks use PWM or On/Off....

Don't count too much on that. I called them three times to ask them about the used BTS I was buying. Twice Brian was supposed to call me back, but didn't. I never did talk to Brian about the trans, only talked to the girls and they didn't answer any of the questions I had. Lol. Brian is just so incredibly busy that he may not have time to mess with those of us buying used BTS transmissions. Lol

The lockups are going to SLAM on! It will work, but you are not going to like it.

The hardest shift I've ever had was when I put in a RacerX valve body in. The tuning was changed after that and fixed the problem but what happened was the TC was locking before the trans shifted into 3rd. The 3rd gear shift with the TC locked was so violent it knocked the dog on the floor and my wife said, 'WTF!!!!'. LOL

Thats my plan.... I have 09 axles stiitn on the floor in my garage and the frame and springs sitting in the storage area at the back of the garage...

Still need a 4r100, an NP 271, and shifter.

Richard

EDT: oh yea... wheels and tires too. that is the hardest part.... I spent almost $1000 on tires when I bought the truck and I cant use them on the axles... still have 90+% tread left after 2 years..

Looking back on it Jim, it was pretty funny! That shift was so hard I thought it would have broke the driveshaft or something.
