Tell me why I shouldn't?

First day on here. Hi all... Got a 54 with a 223 in it. thinking about the 460 big boy with the c6 out of a 68 lincoln. tell me why i shouldn't. I'd like to hear from someone who has done this swap in 53-56...

Interested in the answers

I have just started a restore on a 1962 F 100 with a 223 CID and 3 spd on the column. I too want to put a v-8 with auto but am worried the original combination may be worth more upon sale.
