Hey Ya'll... Andy in Warrenton here / need a front axle seal driver..

Hi. I'm looking for a front axle seal driver for my 2002 F250. I can buy one or borrow one.

Just got all my parts to replace the front seals, u-joints, and ball joints.

Thanks,
Andy

Hello Andy. You can find inexpensive ones at harbor freight.

I use a large socket that fits the seal. You need a 3/4 or 1" set for that. I just put an extension in the socket, and tap it in lightly until the seal seats

Make sure to put a little grease on the rubber part of the seal so when you put the axle in, it don't rip the rubber.

If you don't have what Charlie suggests. Some parts stores loan the tools free of charge. You pay a deposit which is returned when the tool is.
