Need help finding part!

I have been looking for a bracket that mounts around the steering column on the outside of the firewall. The part # C7TZ3668B. I have tried Green Sales and a few others with no luck. There are not alot of junkyards around here. Anyone have a good source for this part? New or used I don't care.

The truck is a 70 F100 with A/T with aftermarket P/S and a steering column from who knows what year.

Number Dummy. I tried D2D, Partsvoice, and Green again just for giggles. No part. I don't remember the 4th avenue you try.
Jim. If Bill doesn't come up with one I'll grab the one off my junker 1971 F100 this weekend. This truck is out of town but I'm going up there this weekend anyways. Please PM me friday to remind me. Got a lot on my mind at the moment.

I have the column out of my 67 that I'm not going to reuse. It was a 3 speed column though, not sure if it's the same.

If someone could post a picture of the part in question I might have one and you can have it.

There are a few bumps and dents in the yards around here and I can probably scrounge one up if all.else fails.

Thanks Jeff I will remind you. I believe the bracket has a clamp that goes with it. My truck didn't have one when I purchased it and I have the column out now. I figured I might as well get one while it's out. I think Bill uses NOS in San Jose, I called him and he told me he would look, but I haven't heard back from him.

Area, I believe looking at the link that Lizardman posted shows a good pic. It at the bottom of the article on the right, with a green text box. I was told the bracket doesn't go around the column, but the clamp does? I'm not sure as I never had one. Thanks for the offer!

Green is listed on PV, so there's no need to go to their website.
If you looked this puppy up (C7TZ-3668-B) would you come to the conclusion it was correct for a 1970 F100 with a P/S column from lawd only knows what?

Hell no, and I wouldn't either. Dunno where the OP got this part number, it wasn't from me.

Bendix P/S: 1966/68 F100/250 2WD - 1969 F100/250 2WD before serial number D96,001.

Ford P/S: 1969 F100/250 2WD & F350 from serial number D96,001 - 1970/79 F100/250 2WD & F350.

Bill. You read the situation correct. I did ASSUME OP got the number from you. That is the only reason I flew with it not double checking the number. I am like you, I don't trust somebody else's part numbers. And I have caught Green is on PV but it is unknown to me how often they download their inventory to PV. It was my hope they had just gotten one in for OP to purchase.
I will PM AREA351 to have him check his stuff. As of last night I may not be going up to Camp Verde this weekend where my junker truck is.

I got the part number from Green Sales, Bill had mention in a different thread that Green Sales have the part numbers and the experience staff to help a dumb ***** like me. I'm sorry I don't have the experience in parts as all my experience comes from Dirt Bikes. I do know how to turn a few wrenches and I'm just looking for a little advice. I have notice that my truck has matching numbers (frame and Vin.) but that's about all that matches. The PO changed numerous things on the truck so it is very hard to determine what is what.

Ok, now that the air is clear, could someone translate what Bill said. I still need help locating the bracket for my truck. I have giving all the info I know. It has a powersteering unit from the 80's exactly like the one that Lizardman included in his link. I don't know what year the steering column is, I do know it has a 73-79 collar on it. The turn signals wires are all changed. So is this the correct part number I need? The serial numbers on my truck are 56,215?

The brackets for power steering and manual steering are different.

1978/79 A/T shift collar is different than 1973/77. 1978/79 shift collar with tilt wheel is different than without.

Which clamp is correct? See parts catalog applications in post 8.

Bill, if I'm looking at the part numbers correctly and from reading your post I would need part # C7TZ-3668-A for the bracket and C5TZ-3668-B for the clamp ? Would this be correct? Hard to tell as the parts list has it listed under a 67, so I assume 67-72 would be the same. Would you have a source for me to get the clamp and bracket?
