What cani expect

Just was wondering. I'm getting right around 19mpg hwy, 15 city and 16 pulling my 4000# camper. I'm thinkin that this ant too bad.
Would my mileage drop, stay the same, or go up if I was to install " Baby Swamp" in the old girl?
Quick run down
1995 f250
Manual with a 4.10
2wheel drive
3.5 DP
No cat
3.5 exhaust
FR shim
PHP chip
OME tires and rims
Not sure when, or if the injecters have ever been change and was thinkin about changing them out in afew months
Any thoughts?

Your MPG hwy/city/pulling are excelent!. I wish that. With the new sticks, all will depend on your right foot.

Well you DONT NEED sticks, BUT always the sticks are VERY GOOD for the performance, but then you are going to get (if not you already have it) the PMS and thats very bad and, IF your play with it, ABSOLUTELY your MPG are going to go down.

But I WOULD!

Ya, I figured that new injecters would not help very much with MPG.
So now Ill have to find something else to play with!

I just installed baby swamps and loan really tell a difference in running. Before I had bad exhaust fumes as well as a little rough running. The new injectors made the engine really run better. This tells me, that I should be expecting a better overall performance and in the case of my truck, better fuel mileage. I also did change to DIY e-fuel and a cold air intake.. If you think your injectors are going bad, I would replace them.
Just my two cents

Btw, swamp did re-burn my chip (6pos programmer) to match my truck free of charge.. And I sure like all settings :-)

Most of us in with rose wood diesel injectors around here. Good service and price. And 19 mpg on the highway, pulling a camper is dang good. How may miles are on you current injectors? With bigger sticks you will have to watch your egt's closer. And might need to put an intercooler on it.

None of those mods will not hurt your mpg's
And it may not help mpg's

My truck was right at the 400 hp mark with stgeII's and stock turbo. My mpg's never changed.

Don't feel too bad Glenn. I just checked mine towing this weekend and I was at 8 too. Seems like 10 is tops for me now when I'm towing, although that takes good weather, no wind, 65mph, etc.

The mule was only one mpg more. What was your's before your recent mods Darin?

Edit: you have I's and I have II's, I'm probably tuned back some. Makes me wonder what the mpg would be if the tunes were opened up? I don't seem to think I smoke much but its hard to tell with the dually and these tow mirrors.

Same here Glenn. I got 1mpg more before the turbo swap. I lost about 1 with the 4.10 gear swap too. Both mods let me stay in the throttle more than with the stock turbo and 3.55's. Each one lessened my egt's towing.

Even though I lost mpg, my truck is a lot happier towing now than it was before either one of those things.

I think the mpg is what it is when a guy's towing these big of loads at 70mph. I don't see any tuning changes making any difference at all.

You all are towing much bigger loads than I am.
With everything as it stands on my truck, I think I'll leave well enough alone.
Not sure of the miles on the infectors, but they seem to be working.
When they do go, I think I'll just stick to OME, but

Well Jose, I'm embarrassed to say, NO. Jonathan sent me more tunes and I have them on my decktop waiting for me to try to burn them. I've just been moving around so much that I haven't taken the time. Excuses, excuses, I know but I'll get around to it eventually, LOL.
