Yes, my 85 has a 35 inch BFG mud terrains, one inch body lift and a 6 inch Skyjacker stage 2 suspension lift with extended radius arms, factory dual front shocks with the aftermarket dual shock upgrade making the front have triple shocks. The rear has custom made dual parallel shocks, with traction shocks over the rear leaf springs. She also has dual front steering stabalizer's with poly bushings throughout the hospital. My next upgrades this winter are, new front springs, half inch shim spacers from bronco graveyard.com, shocks have been painted silver and are waiting install with new decals. I ordered all new interior LED lights and painted the needles in gauges, the painted needles turned out outstanding! I'm going to order Tuff Country traction bars and paint them red, I still have to order. Also Looking @ a ZF5 speed swap, saganaw power steering pump swap, stereo system install, and a Lariat bucket seat swap from a 85'/86' bronco if i can locate it all yet. Once i have my new shed built this summer, increasing the body lift to 2 inches. Then upgrading the tires to 36x14.5x15 Super Swamper TSL Radials with Treadwares white letter tire kit. All in All, go big cuz those new trucks are bigger than the old ones and once there lifted they are even bigger. Once one passes you your going to want a bigger lift kit and tires, just my 2 cents. Thanks for the love of the 85'

trucks seats are done.
I originally scored these in a local yard. perfect shape no flaws just needed cleaned. out of a supercab.
I was going to put these in my 85 bronco project. but i recently bought a set of 40/20/40 lightning seas for it!
So being as these came from a supercab, and this truck is a reg cab, i had to do some flip flopping. while i was in there i cleaned it all and switched driver and pss side foam for the hell of it,(really didnt need to, but figured since i was so deep into them.)
first I had to remove the supercab Sliders and center seat base and the supercab hinges. I am using all of that for my lightning seats so they go in my bronco and function like they should so i can access rear seat like designed.
also something not many know is the middle seat bottom seat frame on a supercab is about a half inch to a inch taller and the mounting studs are in different locations.
when i put these together i used a grey 40/20/40 out of a crew cab for proper center seat bottom frame, driver and pass side hinges, seat tracks, and pan.(actually used the lightnig seat pan since it was basically brand new, but same thing)
seat belts are from the crew set as well.
not sure if many will care about this process, might put a thread together with all the info and pics ?
here are the pictures, i know it was alot to follow with
seats will look awesome in this truck!
How they started fresh from junkyard:
Starting to dissemble:
notice the supercab and bronco hinges have an extra arm that connects to a rod which connects to the sliders to allow it to slide for rear seat access.
and all seat bottoms have holes for the reg/crew cab sliders and bronco/supercab tracks becuae they use different holes for length.
here is the 40/20/40 out of the crew that is donating its bracketry and sliders. reason i dint use these is they werent near as nice as the supercab set, but i still sold them for 300
here are two pictures showing the difference in the jump seats bottom frame between reg/crew and /supercab/bronco. just a subtle height difference and different mounting stud location., but noticeable if left and bolted to a reg/crew cab pan. the reg/crew frame is the one on left with ash tray mount
bottom seat foam swap. there is velcro and hog rings holding the cover on. a sleeve in the cover holds the rod. bend an end of the ord straight and slide it out of the hog rings to seperate it from the foam.
and the finished product took em to uncles yesterday. he loves them
first is the picture of the mint lightning pan i used to mount them on because it was perfect aftewr a little wash
sorry for the long winded post and going so in depth. but i figured id explain!

Dog has a pretty nice bed. Does he think he's going for a ride when he sits on it
That's a good write up. If you have time, I would say go ahead and do a separate write up and if brad can add some info to it, that would be great also. Everyone is always asking how to put supercab or lightning seats in their trucks.
Good work.
