So, being a newbie with these old Fords, I didn't know that fire extinguisher was an option. That looks really good after you shined it up.

Looking forward to the video.

3 1/2 hrs. of 40 micron wet sanding & buffing on the wheel , media blasting the bracket , fill the pitting ., sanding , priming , painting , & install .If you do not have an angle drill for the install you are effed !

Thanks to all for the praise during the build . It is nice to hear it from fellow truckers who understand the process .

Acceptance pics will be going the the head of the ISCA in B-ham Ala. next week for the Feb. 2016 show . Yes , you need to send a portfolio of pics to be considered for the show . They want show worthy vehicles and have classes for everything . Check it out . Google search ISCA .

Wow, I like the magnetic sign idea. What did that cost you?

Hood was attached by 8:30 . Needed one minor adjustment . Moved the right side forward 1/16 " . All other pcs. were attached by 11 am. Road tested the hood for a 10 mile round trip . Damn near wore my thumb out with all the response on the road .Guess I'd better get used to that .

Sat , drank a beer , admired the truck in the carport ( it was 95 today ) thinking of what to do next & came up w/ nothing . It is finished !!!!

The truck is loaded up w/ all necessary items for the show Sun. at the Winery .Pics Sun eve.

Cost ? Way cheaper than having to repaint them because some one violated the cardinal rule of car shows .

Placed top 10 at the open car show.Local winery annual event 74 cars & 2 trucks . Prize was bottle of wine & 2 glasses which made the little Italian woman very happy ! So got the entry fee back + .
Bobs fuel injected iron hemi pro street '53 is bad a$$ !!
Was the second vehicle there .Pays to be early as every one who attended had to walk past the truck section to enter the show. Whole bunch of awesome job , congrats & etc. on the truck .

Ran like well oiled Singer !!!

Way too hot for car shows in S, Fla during the summer .Took the (red) ezup & saved the day !! .

Informational / protective magnetic signs for the running boards proved to be a good idea as it made people stop & look at the truck .

Your truck is stunning. I'd have looked your truck over from top to bottom and I'd have looked over that Buick too. I like them stock and old...

Truck went to the gated community storage garage last evening . Took the long way around town thru the old area w/ shops , eateries & etc. Turned some heads .Way too hot here for summer shows in the parking lots . Maybe a tues . night show end of July if it is cloudy out . If not wait till TS2015 Sept. in Tn. Will be in Ala. for the 4th visiting firstriders _daughter & grand daughter . Also will be making a call on an old salvage yard in Boaz , Al. Heard they have a half dozen '51-'52 trucks & maybe some '48-'50's . Any one need a specific part ? Will gladly acquire any needed parts as long as they are not big items .
