Check you crank case vent tubes, if you don't have any ventilation the 4.6 likes to spit oil out of every hole.
As for the engine: 99+ 4.6 engine make more power because of the PI heads. I imagine you would just swap the car intake/oil pan/ect for the truck and it will fall right in. Not sure how much work will be for the auto trans since its computer control and all that.

When the 1997 new-style F-150 was coming out, there were changes made to the 4.6L engine design to make it suitable for truck use. I'm talking basic engine mechanical stuff. I don't remember all what they were, except one was something like deeper block skirts for each cylinder bore. Don't know if all those changes also made it into later Crown Vic - MGM - TC. And I don't know if the block height or other external dimensions were different.
