South Texas Tech Day #3 for 2013

Okay everyone. I will be happy to host another gathering at my place. I am looking at the weekends of the 1st or 8th of November. By then we won't be actually roasting when we are under the hood of our vehicles. Just let me know if anyone is interested and what weekend you would like.

I would like to reserve a site... I have a much better chance if making this one than the last one. As long as I'm not in Oklahoma or Utah, I'll be there. Either weekend is fine afaik, I'll check with the wife (but she isn't working so I have the final say

I guess I'll get on the list for installing the 6.0 trans cooler, rebuilding my oil cooler, changing front and rear diff fluid and transfer case fluid, and fixing the leaking hub seal and greasing needle bearings. Ok that's a big list. Maybe I'll hold off on the vacuum seals for now lol, we'll see.

As if anything could keep me from showing up...

I may have some things to do on motorbug here and there...

I may have to replace my hpop and pull the trigger on a new set of injectors before then tho... its getting time...

As usual i can drag the camper up and have room for at least 2 people to crash.

Got the wife on board (she didn't really have a choice since we are living in the camper lol). My vote is the first weekend because its not as close to thanksgiving.

No problem. I did to have one of those because of high school football and my daughter being in the band. So I will say the first weekend will be the best fit. For the first. Any others that want to chime in.

I'm on call that weekend, but I may be able to work something out. It will be good to see all of you again. I know Mark has several projects to tend to, but may need to tackle some of them before that time.

Roland, I am putting your McTool to work. Driver's side is done, and passenger side in the morning. Works great! Glow plugs weren't too bad. Just a little swollen/burnt on the ends. Found out this weekend I have a LL injector in the #8 spot, PMRs and a mechanical diode tranny.

I am going to post it in the Texas forum as well. Maybe we can add some other Ford guys to the mix this time.

I'll be there this time. I sure wish I had made it to the last GTG. I've been sitting on all those parts ever since then. They've been just collecting dust and getting in my way. I got plans to install everything over the Labor day weekend though. I'm sure by 11/1 I'll find something new to do to it. Maybe upgrade the injectors or head studs.
