I have the receipts for everything I've done with the truck.
It has fairly new 31 X 10.50 tires with less than 2000 miles on them.
The seals around the driver and passenger side windows have been
replaced just a few months ago. The upper seal for the rear window
has also been replaced. It has a new windshield and trim, in November 2011, although I did
paint it along with the hood and roof with Rhino Liner. I sanded the roof
and the hood down to bare metal before doing the painting. I had intended
to paint the topper too, so didn't worry about overspray. It has a rust free
tailgate that I had shipped to me from California. It was burgundy, as is seen
on the interior shot, so I scuffed the paint, took off the trim and Rhino lined it.
The glass moves up and down fine from the inside or from the tailgate with
the key. I have a spare rear window that will go with it that I kept from my
old tailgate. There are also other tailgate parts that go with it, including a motor.
The battery was new in August 2011, and I also put in a new alternator. Passenger side Hub and Spindle replaced. Upper and lower ball joints replaced, and radius arm bushings
too.
Has new brake pads, rotors and shoes, drums and master cylinder. Under the hood is also a new power steering pump, radiator, fan clutch, heater core and hoses. I also put on a new thermostat housing and thermostat (which has a really tiny leak, but after the second try I gave up there is a new gasket for it I'll give you to do it). The A/C works after I replaced the A/C Accumulator and hose and recharged the system.
I also replaced the steering wheel, and have a spare, the turn signal assembly in the column, headlight switch and the instrument cluster. I still have the original speedometer showing less than 80,000 original miles in my possession, just not installed anymore. I have several gauges that I got from other instrument clusters you will get as spares if you ever need them. headlight switch has also been replaced, as has the floor dimmer switch.
Okay, so what is "wrong" with it? The fuel pump float works for the 1st half of the tank but then shows empty. I have a speedometer with odometer on it and I just use that to tell me when to gas up. LMC sells the pump for less than $60 but I have gotten to it yet, and will leave that for the new owner. By the way, this truck has the 32 gallon fuel tank. I haven't done anything with the carburetor since I bought it, and suspect it could use a cleaning and tuning. It's an Edelbrock 4bbl. The Bronco has cruise control, but when it is engaged, the clip that holds the cable to the throttle control cable has popped off, so I don't use it. It may have had something to do with the vacuum lines that I recently replaced, so maybe it works now? As mentioned before, it has a tiny antifreeze leak where the sealant/gasket didn't quite take on the thermostat housing, I'll even give you the gasket to fix it! It needs to have the valve cover gaskets replaced as it has a couple of leaks that drop a small amount of oil on the manifold. The bottom weather seal on the tailgate still needs to be replaced, as do the weather seals around the front doors.
The JVC CD stereo is nice and loud! I can't think of anything else but to say that I am looking for $2,500 OBO
