After reading the "Sync update" thread it got me to thinking. My truck is a 2011 and if I skip the 2013 update and get the next one that comes available, will it include all the changes that were made in the 2013 version?

 

I think they have been cumulative.

 

Are you talking about the Navigation updates? Yes they are cumulative. I'm still running the original Nav maps.

Mine tells me that I'm current as far as the Sync software, Which I have not noticed any real changes from the couple of updates I've done over the years.

I hope the next version of Sync or My Ford or what ever they call it. has better Voice recognition. A lot of the streets in Utah are numbers ( not names) Sync just does not recognize a number for street name. It works great if I stop and manually enter the street,But I can't be driving and say I want to go to 1785 S 500 West. It just will not find 500 west.

 

There is an update out for the "SYNC" systems it is 4.2.1.4 and is a dealer installed change and does not show up on the my sync web page but is on oasis. I am scheduled to get it tomorrow it is suppose to clear up some of the phone problems I am having.
