As the title states, anyone used one of their rebuilt steering boxes? I've used them before for rack and pinions with good results, never bought a steering box from them though.

 

Apparently the best in the business for our trucks is Red Head steering gears, but I can't tell you anything about the product you ask. If their quality on other products is good that should be expected of this one.

 

Oh I know all about Redhead. Had one of their boxes in my former Excursion. Just looking to save a little.

 

I haven't heard of them either.. But, what kind of warranty do they give?? My personal feelings are if they have a 2/3 year or better warranty they are probably better quality then one with say 90 days. Now if we could just find one with a lifetime..........

I'm sure you know this already but just wanted to refresh your memory... I've used NAPA gears in the past, but a best friend owned the local store so a long warranty was not really a problem...

 

Lifetime warranty, and no up front core charge. On my six Denozo!
