Replacing the bearing in the steering column on a 1973 F100

For reasons involving the powdercoating shop not following my directions and forgetting to mask off the upper and lower steering column bearings, I need to install new ones. The upper bearing in the upper collar that houses the turn signal switch is the worst, and feels like sand when turning now. Is that a serviceable piece? I did not see a way to take it apart in the first place, but maybe I missed something? I've found these parts which suggests it is removable, but I did not see a snap ring or anything when the column was taken apart before:
Carolina Classics, Obsolete Ford Truck Parts, truck part, ford truck part, truck body parts, classic truck part, pickup truck part, old truck part, classic ford truck part, antique truck part, old ford truck part, auto truck part, ford truck restorat

They are for different years though. My truck part looks like the '72 bearing, but it is '73 truck.

Check your serial number. '73's built before s/n S40,001 (2WD) or U60,001 (4WD) use the '72 bearing.

Bearing assy., steering column
73 F100-350 before s/n S40,001 (2WD) & U60,001 (4WD)
upper and lower 1" ID X 1 7/16" OD X 15/32" thick

Same truck parts catalog pic applies to 1965/72 F100/250 2WD & 1967/72 F350.
