59 English Ford Thames Van
I've looked and can't find anything. Its going to be really tough getting something for that van. I would strongly recommend Hemmings, www.hmn.com, its the best place to start for unusual vehicles.

First stop: www.angliaobsolete.com California company we have dealt with several times.
www.popbrowns.co.uk
www.thepopshop.org.uk
There is also a place in Texas (I think) called KIP-the orphan store. They have good support for stock engine related parts as well as glass, rubber and carpet. Can't find a website for them yet.
Todd.

Here is an idea. The member francobones is in Ebgland restoring a 61 Econo truck and is having problems getting parts. Maybe he can help for parts at his end and you help at this end. Help each other. He said his mechanic over there working on his truck has restored a Thames van.
I seen one up here on Kijiji for sale in Calgary or Edmonton. It was rough, but the guy was asking a few 1000 for it. I don't think he got any bites.
I remember when I was in my teens coming across a boneyard north of Saskatoon. It had a dozen of these vans. Now the city has took over that area and they went to the boneyard in the sky.
So PM francobones and see if that will help.

I assume it is the 400e you have (similar to the E100 econoline) as there are other Ford Thames vans, the 300e is a smaller car type van and the Ford Thames trader is more of a truck.
There are a couple of good publications over here,
Classic Van and Pickup (Monthly) Kelsey Publishing ISSN 1472 - 1821 van.mag@kelsey.co.uk
Classic Car Weekly, also by Kelsey Publishing www.classic-car-weekly.co.uk
This paper has an autojumble section and a Wanted section and it had a 400e in for sale last week, running but needing work.
A good newsagents should be able to get those in for you, hope this helps.
BTW my mechanic did up a Bedford CA not a Thames, but seeing as the Thames was derived from the Econoline I would have thought some parts may be interchangable or at least made to fit, but I don't know so don't quote me on that.
Cheers
Frank
