2011-14 superduty TPMS questions

I have a 2014 f350 comming, my question is I run a set of aftermarket tires and rims in the summer and stock in the winter. What can you do with tpms? My wifes mercedes benz has the same but her car wil relearn new sensors anytime automatically. Will the ford superduty do this? If not can I force the tpms to relearn 4 identical tire pressures say 70 psi for example then take all 4 tpms and mount them inside the spare and set that to 70 psi? I realize this will ONLY work for banded tpms. This way the light will stay off and I can swap my tires as needed hassle free???
Are the tpms the band type or the valve stem type?

On my Mazda I just put a price of tape over the tpms light on the dash when I had my winter rims and tires on. I am not familiar with the newer ford step though. I assume it is ties into the info display?

Don't make a mountain out of mole hill. Get a set of TPMS installed in your aftermarket rims and be done with it. It won't be that much of a hassle to relearn the sensors ~2 times a year when you switch back and forth.

The relearn procedure is in your Owners Guide.
