OEM bed rails

I have a few sets of OEM bed rails sitting in the garage. I'm looking to put one set on my 250, and probably sell the others. Problem being, I don't really know what to ask for them. Please note, this is not a for sale post, I don't know if I'm going to sell them yet, but I would like to know what the market bears. The nicest set will go on my truck, those were pulled off one of my father's trucks in 1980, and been sitting in a Ford box ever since. I have 2 other sets that are a little weathered and cloudy, but I wouldn't hesitate to put on a nice driver. The last set is a little pitted and pretty cloudy, I'd use in a pinch but would want to refinish first.

So what do you guys think these things are worth??? $50/pr, $100/pr, $200/pr??? For the record I hate these kinds of posts, but I just never see the rails listed by themselves.

100+ views...no one else sees the rails by themselves either I take it. So I'll throw a number out...is $200 too much to ask???

post pix, I am not sure exactly what you are talking about. do they bolt on top of bed, are they curved at ends, and round or square tubed?

They are reproduced by LMC part # 49-4050 short bed only for $349.95.....

I to have 3 long bed sets and run one set on my 77, I love that old school style.

They almost got in the way one when I was taking my goose-neck horse trailer thru a twisty ditch, almost......

They are rare and real hard to find, like the OEM push guard on the front.

So then $200 wouldn't be out I line for a good straight set judging by those prices.

I've done a lot of reading across the forums and see that truck pop up everywhere. I never knew that truck had a 73-77 cab with the in-cab gas tank.

Yes that cab was swapped out before I bought it. The guy that now owns it lives in Germany.

Yea Ranger I hope you got a BIG boat load of money for that beautiful truck, I do not know if I could of sold it.

Justice take a #2 phillips and take the black plastic inner cover off each mount and then a 1/2 or 9/16 ratchet wrench, only loosen it enough to be able to turn the metal lock bracket inside the stake pocket to remove.

To loose and it will fall inside the pocket, and then you will need some needle nose......

Do you still have a set of bed rails you would be willing to part with?

I just came acrossed a set of long bed rails that have a woodgrain center. Does anyone know anything about that style as to if it was a special model that would have gotten them?

Aftermarket. The OEM Ford rails were extruded aluminum with chromed, die cast end pieces. No wood grain.
