If anyone is out there that has a 1999 or similar windstar. I need the fuse number and relay number for the driver side power window. Someone stole my owners manual and my window is not working. I can't believe the listing is not in the haynes manual or on the fuse box cover.....

Just downloaded a .pdf file from ford.com that contains the complete owner's manual for the year you want. search the site for 'manual' and put in windstar and 1999. Won't take long if you have a good connection.

 

In the 1998 Windstar, Instrument Panel Fuse 29 drives the Delayed Accessory Relay, which also draws from Engine Compartment Fuse G. These provide power to the One Touch Down Relay on the I/P Fuse Panel (Third down on the left side of the Fuse Block away from the fuses), thru some resistance wire to the Left Window Power Motor.

However, I had a Passenger Side Power window that stopped working, and I ultimately had to replace the motor, after troubleshooting to the switch and replacing the switch.

So what do I know? Anyway, the motor can get wet, and get shorted out, so make sure the waterproof shield is back in place after you get through.
