This one followed me home today. I found it on the local CL.

I bought it for parts but after I got it home my neighbor, the one that got me into the old Buicks, suggested I get it running and drive it as it is. The stranger thing is my wife wants me to do it too!

That is so cool Bob. A fresh battery and some clear coat and drive her for sure.
Maybe a foam pad on the seat

It goes to show, these are still out there. Dont even ask what I'd do for that
Buick. Nothing like a V8 flathead and a Straight Eight. I still have a lot of
Flxible Bus NOS stuff which used FB320 Buicks and one complete 320 straight
eight engine. And the 58 Ford thats just as unbeleivable as the Buick. Then there is a 80yr old lady with the only car she ever owned 'new' a 57 green and white retractable, still appearing around town. Myself I still have my high school car or cars of 1961. A three year old Mercury and when a senior a Mark IV 59
Continental. I will put those in my garage album so click my garage.

Had to pull the hub caps to air up the tires and I like it better without them

Bob, that Buick is too nice to use for parts. I say you work on that one after you get your Buick done. Maybe do a flip on this one like your neighbor does all the time??

Kevin, that's a sweet score. About 7 years ago I found its cousin.

I found the truck at a garage sale that was being done during the week. The lady needed to move out quick because the house was sold. I asked about the Ranchero. She told me that it was one of her ex-husband's vehicles, but she had the title in her name. She sold it to me for a whopping $100. I resold it within a month on eBay for $2000 and was paid another $300 to deliver it. The car also came with replacement gold trim, extra tail light lense, original wheels/caps and the front bumper.

This also followed me today, but not home. Instead, it followed me to an Airflow specialist that will rebuild the motor and do other necessary mechanical repairs.

Had to take this picture when the care was unloaded and waiting to go into the shop.

Ilya, I never realized before I saw this pic that the 58 Ranchero had the round taillights of the 57 car, instead of the oval lights of the 58 car.

Nice find and great turn.

Wow those are some cool finds. Bob, I'm with your neighbor and wife on this one.....wait...I get it now, you told her it was for parts. Once you got it home, she liked it. We all know that is way to nice for a parts vehicle, smooth work on your part.
