Help Needed

I have a 2004 f350 6.0 and over the time since new the dealer had got it so out of wack and lost a lot of power from new. The prob. right now is it is sounding like it is backfiring in the intake system when taking of and when you let of of it , it also backfires and sometimes blows of the hose on the turbo. It has gotten bad enough that i don't feel comfortable to tow the 5th wheel with it. I live in the lower western part of Indiana. I would like to know if anyone could recommend a dealer that is good to work on this. I wouldn't mind going some down the road if it is worth it.
Thanks !

Sounds like your turbo needs cleaning.

Hopefully someone will come along w/ a shop recommendation, but any dealership should be able to do that.

yep I agree with Mark and Cheezit, turbo needs cleaned. Just about any diesel shop should be able to do that.

First off Welcome to FTE.
If you have not had the time read the Tech Folder at the top.
You will find a lot of good stuff.
Do you like to work on your own trucks? If yes we can tell you
the steps to clean that turbo and that way if you have a problem
with it out on the road you will have a basic idea how it works
and even maybe how to deal with it.
