How Much would my truck sell for?

Hey, I'm in the market for buying a newer F series truck. Probably a 250 diesel.
I have now a Ford F-150 2000, Triton V8 5.4L with 50k Miles on it. How much could this potentially sell for?
Thanks.

2wd or 4wd, what part of the country, which cab config, how much rust, what trim level, can the 50K be verified?

i normally check the local craigslist or shopper news papers to see what things are selling for within 100 miles of my location. Things seem to change by location, city, country, etc.

In addition to craigslist think you might have better luck researching comparison values in bigger market places like autotrader.com or ebay.com - especially completed auctions.

And of course Kelly Blue Book, NADA & Edmunds online used vehicle value guides are worth a look.

My local "shopper newspapers" in FL & NY seldom provide much of anything of interest.

Depends on the paint condtion and interior as well. Sounds like low miles. Look up vehicles in auto trader with similar features and kelley blue book. Ask more if its clean and less if its not. Put it out there for the high end and see what the market will bear. Also take it to a CarMax and see what they say, it will be low ball but it could give you a starting point. Anywhere from 4k-8k depending on what it needs.

Well, it's about 14 years old, so even with low miles, that'll make a big difference. If in excellent condition, mechanical and body, I'd say about $6,000, if SuperCrew, Lariat, etc.
