Help with 73 Bronco vac, emission, and carb lines
Hi people. I just joined up because my parents bought me this great '73 Bronco. It's in pretty decent shape but there seem to be plenty of vacuum hoses or emission lines missing from the air cleaner assembly, carburetor parts and such. It's been running rougher and rougher in the two weeks I've had it and I'd like to fix this myself. I posted pictures in my album with arrows to highlight the missing hoses, but I can't figure out how to post the pics on this thread. Any help from people that know these old V8 302's would be greatly appreciated.

Best advise I can offer, is to purchase the original Ford Shop Manuals for your year. Especially being a new owner. They come up on E-Bay and in the classifieds here occasionally. AutoZone did have some pretty good diagrams in their repair guides section. Welcome to the crazy world of early Bronco's. Another good site to visit dealing only with 66-77 Bronco's is classicbroncos.com.

I like ur idea of replacin them. Many rip em off all together (& just make matters worse) tryin to "make it look cool".
2X what gfw sez...
problem is during those yrs things were changin so fast each yr had a "pollution control advancement" that wuz not there the yr B4 and advanced the nxt yr. Do it by the book (grab a manual) the way it wuz engineered for best results (until U understand all the 'workings' & have the ability to redesign your own way).
Welcome to the site! Lookin 4ward to more...
(BTW: no pic posted till ur 25th post I think, I'm sure some1 will chime in w/correct info).

In the meantime, have somebody run the throttle as you check the vacuum ports on the carburetor for which port has no vacuum at idle and has vacuum when the throttle is opened. Run a hose from that port to the vacuum advance on the distributor. If you have power brakes and a PVC, you should run them from a large port below the throttle blades or right on the intake. Plug all the others until you get a proper vacuum diagram. You can PM me with any questions.
