all mods done.. Hard Start

maybe someone can give me a lead here:
I have to crank the truck several times for quiet some time, until it starts. Once started, no smoke, smooth running and lots of power.

I shut it down.. wait 5 minutes, and have to crank it for a long time again..

mods that i just completed:
auto to 5 speed swap, new baby swamp injectors, rebuild turbo, new exhaust , straight pipe from turbo back. E-fuel.( have set at 70psi and switched through relay. runs as soon ignition is on, as well as during cranking).

I do not have the A&E enhanced package for my PC, so i can not read any kind of data.

Any help is as always greatly appreciated

^^^what he said^^^ It could take up to 200 miles to get all the air out of it. Take it out and drive it like you stole it, that will help.

0 miles driving, as i still got to install some sort of shift lever (can’t find a original one cheap) and i got to bleed the clutch.

I had it idled so far for a total of about 15 to 20 min to check for all leaks.

Sounds normal then. You'll just need to get it moving and drive it some.

You bet. That should wake the truck up and run quite nice with that combo. You pull much and you're gonna want to upgrade the hpop if its still a 15. A stock 17 out of a SD would work fine. I think it will struggle to keep up with your other upgrades pulling a good load.

I had the same thing after I replaced my fuel pump. Freaked me out. It ran so bad at first I thought I had totally screwed it up. My friend told me to drive the snot out of it and see if it helped, so I was screamin all over the countryside for about 30 miles. Ran great after.

Might want to check your batteries... 7.3's will not start with less then 10.5 volts while cranking. I would rent a load tester from autozone and see if they check out.

If you go to the Super duty section you may be able to get a 17* for free.
When they want to upgrade their HPOP they need a core... your 15* can be a core for them and they can send you their 17*.
I know a few members have done this and gotten a free upgrade.
