OK, ok, I believe its time for thirty-three frosty beverages
and to keep it on topic....I believe its time for thrity-three frosty beverages while sitting on the tailgate of an old truck
(true Bob, it just happens to be Friday today...LOL)
Back in the days in Viet Nam there was a beer that was named "33 Bere" - Some French related thing - Anyway the GI's called it Baum de Baum - It tasted like there was formaldahyde in it and depending on the bacth was as weak as milk or as strong as cobra venom
Who mentioned 33 - It caused a time warp
Which brings up the "Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light" - They say it's a fact and they figured it out by puting letters and numbers together until they got tired and said that this chaulk board full of stuff proved it
There is also this thing about space things can't get here because they can't travel fast enough ! - Just because we can't doesn't mean they can't
Bob the only reason you believe in infinity is because you're married - It just seems like it lasts forever
Wow! Talk about bringing back old memories! I was there, 67,68,69, and drank that embalming fluid......Tasted like crap, but was so potent, after the first two you just didn't give a crap anymore.......Damn I'm old...........
LOL
I've never heard of 33 bere. But one time at the tender young age of 11 (ok, almost 12) my buddies and I stumbled upon a case of 102 Beer (in small print it stated that it took 101 times to perfect it)
It was hot and skunked and we loved it....made for a heck a party
I actually just read this whole thread....I was a normal kid until I met you guys.
I'm sitting here eating John Deere ice cream, my youngest named it that. Any guesses as to what kind?
WOO HOO!!!!! I'm post #42. That is my answer to any question. I was shocked when I heard about Hitchhikers guide. (of course that was a few years ago.)
I remember the beer cans had no pop tops in Southeast Asia. We had to carry a church key. And the beer was warmed in the wonderful sun for days or weeks before it ever made it to the base. Good old days?
Nope, I think every dairy makes my John Deere, but some versions aren't quite so green as Central Dairy. Central Dairy used to be a local dairy until they were bought out by...Prairie Farms recently. They still keep the Central Dairy name.

They set out pallets of PBR along the road just outside the supply compound at Bien Hoa - This stuff had sat outside so long that if you ran a finger nail along the side it would burst open - It was some nasty doo-doo
