Hi all. Today I decided to run a random code check SCT Scan tuner (no check light on) and code P0100 came up. when I cleared the code. it was still present. Can't seem to erase it either. Truck seems to be running great! What should I be looking for or checking? Thx.

 

If you meant P1000, it's an OBD readiness deal that goes away after a few drive cycles. I think it sets if you clear the KAM, unhook the batteries, flash the PCM, and lasts until you've made a few trips. It's not typically indicative of an actual problem.

If it's actually P0100 it's a MAF code and should set a CEL.

 

Yep, P1000. I did download a new tune to my truck, VIA SCT Tuner. I guess when I did that, the code came up? Since my upgrades my truck has been running great! Thx.
