fuel issue

On my 97 f250 7.3 is starving for fuel, acts like it is running out.. changed mechanical fuel pump, filter and bypassed fuel tank selector valve and it still runs out of fuel and dies under a load. runs fine at idle... any ideas???

When you say it runs out of fuel, is the fuel bowl empty when it dies?

fuel bowl is not empty, have now checked fuel delivery and is good pressure coming out of filter housing. So am not thinking it's fuel even though it starts missing like it's running out of fuel, starting checking wiring into valve covers and after playing with the harness it is running better but still develops a miss after a hard load but will keep running when before it would stall and have a real hard time refiring...

Pig tails are all good, pulled valve covers and started engine unplugged each injector and found that the front injector on each side showed little difference in idling

yes they all appeared to be spitting oil and no did not see any oozing. just checked fuel pressure just to make sure and go a reading around 110 pounds and fluttering at idle. don't know what normal should be and just for giggles I changed the cps which made no difference. And now it's smoking real bad (blueish/white)
