2001 Ford F-250 6.8 5-Spd 58k Miles

2001 Ford F-250 by LeftofLucky, on Flickr

Hey Guys,

I've decided to sell my 2001 F-250. It has the 6.8-liter V10 paired with a 5-speed manual transmission. The truck has 58,500 miles on it, and I've done my best to keep it as clean and well-maintained as possible. Oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles with Mobil1 5w-20. I replaced the transmission fluid when I bought it three years ago at 48k miles and the rear differential fluid with Mobil1 last month.

The auto locking hubs failed earlier this year, so I replaced them with Warn Premium manuals. I also had exhaust manifold stud failure as well. I used it as an excuse to replace the whole exhaust with a Banks Power Pack system, but I had the headers ceramic coated to keep engine bay heat down. I also just put a new set of BFG AT E-Range tires on less than 2,000 miles ago.

It has a new steering stabilizer as of a few months back, too. I replaced the brake pads when I bought it and flushed the brake fluid.

I bought the truck from an older guy who used it to pull his two-horse trailer around. It has the factory Class V hitch as well as a B&W hideaway fifth-wheel hitch and a trailer-brake controller. The bed has a spray-in liner in good shape. Durable stuff. The Tractor Supply deep tool box comes with.

It's an XLT, so it has the vinyl mat, but comes with cruise control, a CD player, power windows and power locks. The driver's side window is a little finicky.

There are a few scratches and one ding. The inside of the tail gate is bent from a heavy load, but the truck is in sharp shape otherwise. I'm including some photos here, but you can see the rest at this link:

Yes, that's the real truck. I take photos for a living.

If you have any questions, feel free to email me at zbowman at gmail.com or give me a call at 540. five seven oh. 3176. I'm located in Knoxville, TN. Asking price is $10,500.

Thanks for looking!

Zach

Ha. Thanks. It'd look good with a nice plow up front.

I love this thing. It's done everything I've asked of it without a complaint, but it sits more than I drive it. No sense keeping it around if someone else can use it.
