Weird stuff

Hey guys, this doesn't have anything to do with dents but i couldn't resist posting this.
We've all seen weird things going down the road, weird (ugly) things on e-bay and Craigslist (dents with lambo style doors ) and on and on.
Well, I was going down I-95 a couple of weeks ago in South Carolina and spotted this....this, uh, well I don't know what the hell it is. Anybody got any ideas?
I see Chrysler, Cadillac, Mercedes-Benz, Chevy, T-Bird (I think), Audi and who knows what.
I will award points for "uniqueness and originality.
And yes, it was actually driving down I-95!

It's a Mercedes... actually multiple Mercedes sedans.

It was featured in a show called "Cruisin' America" or "Wild About Wheels" or something like that. The owner is a European who emigrated to the US back in the 70s... he apparently took one too many hits of acid.

There was another guy who modified a Chevy van that is gussied up much the same as that Benz.. a Finnish guy. It's also stretched, has front and rear steer, plus a sauna in the trailer he tows... the trailer is, you guessed it, a portion of a Chevy van.

Hey it's crazy and definitely someone's pride and joy. I wonder how much it weighs and if it has rear wheel steering. There's an annual art car parade here in Houston and lots of wild looking rides, this would fit right in.

Yes, it has rear steering. Look at how the rear wheels are turned left.

Here's an article from June 2010: Amazing contraption: Mercedes-Benz 300TD Limo created out of junk lands on eBay

"Winner of the Houston Texas Art Car twice in 2007 and 2009 as well as two time winner of the "People's Choice Award" Art Car in Florida, this Mercedes-Benz 300TD Limo created by Antti Rahko is amazing piece of art crated out of junk. This Mercedes 300 Turbodiesel Limousine is custom welded with other limousine and added with junk parts collected from over 40 cars that includes 86 lights, 36 mirrors and 3 batteries. The awesome beauty has the seating capacity for 10 people and features 3 axels and 8 wheels taking its overall length to 29 feet and weight to 3,402Kgs.

Additionally, the vehicle has 4 wheel-steering which the rear is linked with the front wheels. The drive-shaft is connected with the center axle with dual wheels at both sides. With silver color exterior and blue interior, the art car has a fuel economy of 25 mpg Diesel. This huge contraption took approximately 10 years to come into the shape and is up for the grab at eBay for a whopping $950,000."
