The 2008–2010 Ford 6.4L Powerstroke is a very popular truck with a lot of potential to make some serious power. The engineers at Mishimoto are here to help unlock that potential, while keeping these trucks nice and cool.

The Mishimoto Performance Intercooler offers increased cooling efficiency and is a serious upgrade over stock. With cast end tanks that are tig welded to a bar-and-plate core, this intercooler is capable of handling more than 100 psi of boost. The factory intercooler has a plastic end tank on the outlet side of the cooler and a tube-and-fin core; both hinder the ability to handle high boost pressures. The Mishimoto intercooler is 18% thicker and 20% larger in volume than the stock core. With all these improvements, the Mishimoto core is able to produce a 25° temperature drop at the outlet, as well as a smaller pressure loss than the factory cooler.





Like all Mishimoto products, this intercooler not only performs well, but it also fits directly into your truck with no modification necessary. It even installs in less than 30 minutes! The engineers included an identical groove in the cooler outlet pipe, so your factory boot will seat perfectly. The intercooler is available in sleek silver and stealth black to match your styling preferences.



This intercooler also comes as a kit, which includes a direct replacement cold-side intercooler pipe. The engineers designed this new pipe to be a full size 3" aluminum pipe instead of the crimped stock pipe, which increases airflow. The kit does require slight modification to the truck. Since the cold-side pipe is no longer crimped, the radiator support has to be trimmed to allow the larger diameter pipe to route into the engine bay. The engineers have made this easy by providing a simple template to guide the user during installation.
