New dash

Well I took your advice. I found some speakers out of a slot machine ( true hot rod style...use what you have) and put them in the dash. The dash is out of a F 500 dump truck. The speakers fit perfect in the holes where the techometer and air gauge once went. The AM radio works so I tested the speakers. They should sound much better when I put the stereo in the glove box. I'll also add a few more speakers in the truck, most likely behind the seat where they will not be seen. If I find one for the top dash I'll add that one too.

I do have another dash with a full set of large truck gauges that is being checked to make sure they work. When they are working I will be putting them in the truck and taking this dash out. I'll also be able to take the three gauge set mounted under the dash out to give it a more stock like (and smooth) look. I don't like idiot lights, I want gauges that show me how my engine is performing. This will be my wife's daily driver.
