Clearence lights HELPPPP!!!

Hey Guys I have a 1999 F250 SD I just ordered some clearance lights from RECON I had a question if the wiring part is default thats all im kinda worried about, I mean drilling in to my roof is scary but im gonna measure 1000 times.

What do you mean by default?
There is a + side and a - side to each circuit. With general lighting (where you want to hook these lights), the switch is on the + side and - goes to ground. If you are using LED lights, make sure you don't get the + and - mixed up, LEDs will not work when switched around.
With interior cabin lighting, the + is constant and the ground has multiple switches.

if you do not have roof lights, you will most likely have to add the wiring harness that goes down to the connector behind the passinger side kick panel
