Congratulations to Wally Linge of Boulder City Nevada for his trucks selection to ride of the week.

What sets Wally's 1959 F truck "teddy" apart for me is the super cool powerplant..... a late model 4.6DOHC with a 4R70W slushbox behind it.

ROTW

WOW! Thanks for the honor of ROTW!

I've owned Teddy since 1970! Drove him all through high school, then as a work truck. He played hard too!
Parked him in 1998/99. Then after retiring, My wife gave up the garage and suggested I redo him one more time. Thats when I put the MRK VIII engine and transmission in. Also added toyota PS.
Thanks again!

Maybe for some folks it's that cool overhead cammer, but for me the topping on the cake is the painted wheels and tire selection. The whole package is awesome. A hearty congratulations to you and Teddy!

Gary I agree, the wheels and tires keep it real! I have always liked the original look of these trucks!
