Finally going to try and get the ac up and running. I need to flush the condensor, evap and hoses. I am replacing the York with a Sanden. I also willl be replacing the dryer and accumulator valve. My question is are the fittings compression style with no O rings or do they have O rings?
All my new parts came with o-rings except the hoses that I had custom made because of the Sanden conversion.
The shop used the old "special" ends that Ford uses on one end of the hose and the standard #8 and #10 ends for the compressor end. The shop supplied the o-rings for those.
If you are using your stock hoses, you'll need fittings to adapt stock hoses to the Sanden. The fittings come with O rings. I just went a bought a O ring kit (green O rings) to change out the rest of them in the hoses. The new dryer comes with O rings as well.
