Took ol' red out to her first cruise night

I finally insured and registered ol' red yesterday so I grabbed a neighbor and we stopped by the local Friday cruise night near my house. I got a few compliments (which was nice) but tomorrow were taking her to a friends shop for some major upgrades (steering, brakes, electrical, etc). It was nice to just take her out for a nice little ride but i can't wait to get her all up to speed.

pics below.

ole Red is looking mighty fine. Gives me goose bumps when someone finally gets to take one on the first trip out. Also gives me motivation.

Hey Wally, I remember that place. A bunch of us used to go there on the weekends in the 70's when "Big Wheelie and the Hubcaps" played in the bar.

Thanks, when I was pulling into the place the guy told me where to park and it meant that i needed to perform a seventy two point turn, a real joy without power steering... my arms will look like paul teautel sr's if i don't get that power steering box installed. It was a fun night though, lots of nice cars, trucks and people.

Great looking truck.

I'm sure there are a lot of jealous people here (me included) that can't wait for their first cruse night.

You sure have one nice truck. It is definitely worthy of any cruise night that you may roll up on. I gotta smile, I can picture you trying to pin point park, with the stock box. Congrats Wally ,you built a beauty.
