upgrading supercharges

Thinking about upgading my stock supercharger with a Kenne
Bell "twin screw" supercharger.

Anyone have any suggestions on this subject?

I have a stock 2001 (white) lightning.

Are you planning on getting real serious with this truck for mods? I think your gains will be minimal for the cash being spent. You could do a lot of other things with that $2500 (considering that the KB is about 3500 bucks and you could probably sell the S/C you have now). I hear a lot of people just swap out the pulley for more boost.

Yeah, unless you really plan on running it hard on a ton of boost, the Eaton will be fine. You can get the Eaton ported for around 4 hundred bucks and get a pulley and install alot of the other typical bolt ons for less the the KB. Not that it is a bad unit, I'd love to have one, but for the money I would have spent on it, I have a converter, pulley, E-fans w/ a cobra pump, SBTB, FTVB w/ deep sump pan, 4.10's ect ect. Plus, with all that added boost, up to 22lbs, do you really think that the stock bottom end would take that kind of abuse? I think not!
