NO BOOST HIGH EGT's!!!!

To produce that high of egt and that low of boost doesn't make much sense to me. Have you double checked your gauges to make sure they are reading accurate? I just had an odd problem a few days ago similar (kind of). I had stupid high egts and low boost. It turned out to be a fuel flow problem. I changed the fuel filter and blew pressurized air back into the tank to clear out the screens in the tank. It's free to do and will only take a few minutes for you to do. Maybe about the same time you rebuilt the turbo you just happen to get a bad batch of fuel causing your flow to be hampered.

When you do that don't forget I take the fuel cap off so the air has somewhere to go. Listen for a big gulp type sound.
I was going to mention something about the wheels on the turbo but I figure having it apart two different times you would have went three it with a fine tooth comb by the second time just to be sure.
Do you have a noticeable power loss? Or are you relaying what the gauges are telling you. I'm wondering still if the screens are not your problem if the gauges are faulty.

hey bigorange, your not the only one. When i rebuilt my turbo (2yrs ago), i've been seeing 10lbs at wot, as well. I even bought anther turbo (great member here), rebuilt it, and installed to no help. Still 10psi at wot. 14lbs with redline unhooked. Prior to this, that damn needle would peg 24psi with redline unhooked and top out at 18-ish when hooked....2 different turbos with 2 different wheels

I find something to be out of place, obviously. Now we have 2 trucks with the same exact problem after the same exact processes involved. Something is not adding up here. Having pulled turbos and you guys having pulled them before I feel the knowledge is there and went into both trucks. What throws me sideways is neither one of you claim to have any form of a leak in the system anywhere.
Did you delete the ebp? Gutting it and putting a plug in the open hole?
Once again I'm spit balling and ill need to ponder this further.
