Welcome !

Cool site. Cooler trucks. Plenty of knowledgable folks here. Great site to further add knowledge about your new to you truck.

Many of us have deleted our dpf/cats. I believe most have been VERY happy they did. Well worth the investment. Not too challenging of a project to take on yourself either. I know mine has more than paid for itself already. Good luck.

Welcome aboard. Be sure to check out the tech folders for some history on everything. Be sure to follow the severe duty maintance schedule period.

OEM only filters on this motor as well.

What he said ^^

I was amazed how easy it is to change the oil on this truck. I literally put a 5 gallon bucket under my truck, open the valve & voila.

I buy my filters @ dieselfiltersonline.com They sell the oem motorcraft filters, & way cheaper than anywhere else I've seen.

nope! go to napa or an auto store and see if you can pick some up there. They have to be able to test coolant, not ph level in pool water.

I get mine at napa.

I would never contridict sennix but you might want to get the strips from Acustrips.com. Napa sells them in a 25 or 50 strip package and they expire before you use more than 3 or 4. Acustrip will sell a set of 6 or something like that.
