F250 Towing?

Hey I have my F250 Camper Special w/a 390. Now that she is almost done I am starting to think about what is safe to tow with. It has the bumper/tow hitch rear bumper.

what are you wanting to know? my f150 with 400 pulled everything I needed fine. Just make sure you have a good receiver rated high enough, good wiring for the trailer plug and strong springs

I'm more or less wanting to know safe tongue weight on the factory bumper. I can post a pic of it later

can't help ya there. I've seen people pull some heavy loads on bumpers, but I've seen a lot of bent bumpers. Personally the only thing I'll ever pull with a bumper is single axle trailers. Once it gets to car size trailers, I won't risk it. Receivers are easy to find and even easier to install. 6 holes drilled (if they aren't already there) and it's in.

I wouldn't put more than 400/500 lbs of tongue weight on a bumper hitch.
