Rear mount winch electrical question

Rear mount winch electrical question
I've got a '93 F350 crew cab, long box with a 460. I want to provide power to the rear so I can use a receiver mounted winch. Not for recovery...just need to be able to pull things onto a trailer.
I originally thought I could mount a second battery under the hood but there's just no room. I've got to build a new rear bumper anyway so I thought about incorporating a battery mount/storage area into it.
I'd like to leave the battery in place and utilize the existing charging system. I've done multiple searches but haven't found anything specific (diagram) to wiring something like that. Wire size, breakers, cut-off switch, routing, etc..
Can you guys point me in the right direction? The winch is an older 4000 lb. Warn.

How many amps does the winch draw? One of our members here installed dual batteries underhood, let me see if I can find that info.

Here's a link to his build thread. The last page shows photos of the dual battery kit installed. Personally, I'd rather install the second battery under the hood to prevent theft and tampering. https://www.ford-trucks.com/forums/1...meswap-33.html
As for the winch wiring, I've had pretty good luck with using the correct size cable, and battery charger connectors like these: http://compare.ebay.com/like/390616847353?var=lv<yp=AllFixedPriceItemTypes&var=sbar
To save costs and complications of running a positive and negative cable all the way to the battery, I've run a shorter negative cable right to the frame to ground.
