Mirror refresh

For those with mirrors like mine, the black plastic had become a light gray with lots of marks in it. It looked old and faded and the "back to black" stuff really didn't help much. I not much of a bodywork guy, but I scuffed mine up with some fine sandpaper, then some steel wool, then some brake cleaner and shot them with the Rustoleum Truck Bedliner spray paint. I think they really came out good especially since the bedliner paint has a texture to it. They look like a factory finish to me. It was a simple taping project and both sides only took about 30 minutes. I also did the white pads under the cab lights and the wiper arms with the same stuff. Little touches but they help.

Wow! That looks awesome! Might need to do this to mine, I have the same problem, never had that great of luck with "color back" products.

Looks awesome! I could have took it for a factory look thats for sure.
