Looks about right to me.. Though I guess checking the tq specs on u bolts and making the springs slide against each other is cheap to free and pretty easy, couldn't hurt to try it first.
Haven't touched it on dad's 95.. staying stock height.. for now. I do remember that thing riding absolutely terrible when it was still on the road. My truck rides a hell of a lot better than it, but I have the diesel motor weight and +250K more miles on mine than are on his so I'd say it's broken in/nice and loose.

Checked this morning the springs have anti friction pads between them. Ubolts I actually snugged tighter last nite. Little loose, not bad.
I'll check shackle bolt / movement later.
Also gotta check tire pressure.
Instead of mounting shackle on rear hanger I'd rather mount shackle to a frame mounted insert bushing.
Edit can't do that^ as the spring is half outboarded from frame.

Just lubed front shackle, only snugged tight with nylok, and lowered air pressure from 30-20 psi. Took for drive over speed bumps and its maybe a tiny bit better.
Jumped on front bumper and it barely moves. I need new leafs I think. Mine are thick at about 3/8-1/2" each.
Superduty springs might the way to go. Found a set for $150 but they are a long drive. There's a wrecker little over hour from here who has all new trucks. Ill here from them tues as Mondays a holiday.

do the shackle reversal and superduty springs/thread.
i haven't read up on it in a while, but there is off the shelf reversals designed specifically for the s/d springs to be used for obs trucks, but you weld so just make your own.
for some reason "stock x-code s/d springs" is popping into my head, and i think it equals out to a 4'' lift, but if you make your own you could tweek it to suit your needs/wants.
with stock shackle location and 6'' lift springs up front my f350 had more frame flex than spring flex......i think they were skyjacker leaves, but don't know for sure.

My springs suck. Haven't even tried flexing it! Ill definitely fab my own .
Here's sky's kit

Pretty basic. It will give about 4"s lift so stock springs would be needed and I'd flog mine off for $100 maybe..

Ok what about this. Guy here has a set of stock 54" superduty springs from a 2000 with a v10. I assume Diesel would be stiffer so these should be good. Wants $80. Should I swap these and do the shackle reversal along with a drop hanger on front to fine tune back to same height.
Worst case I could even put the springs through our shop rolls to put more arc in them too , not a problem

I just really want a better ride in this thing. Never drove a superduty so just looking for info. I'm thinking I need to roll at least a 2" arc into them to get where I want for ride height.

This guy on pirate posted on same swap. Springs are flat and just clears 37's.
